2026–2027 Season

Your wheelhouse's home on Mille Lacs

Fish houses at Barnacles make their home in Meadowview park, alongside our seasonal RVs — lease an electric lot, a primitive lot, or a storage space. It's one of the best perches (pun intended) for chasing Mille Lacs walleye through the ice. Lots lease annually; the 2026–2027 season runs April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027.

Every fish house membership includes:

Good to know: Electric usage on electric lots is individually metered and billed back at $0.19 per kWh plus a $50 annual meter fee. Ice road access is available by contracting directly with North Mille Lacs Ice Fishing. Only non-RV edition wheelhouse-style RVs and skid houses are allowed on lots leased for a fish house — RV Edition wheelhouses, truck campers, travel trailers, fifth wheels, pop-ups, and motorhomes are classified and charged for RV Lots. Leases renew automatically for successive 12-month seasons unless cancelled at least 30 days before renewal.

Why the North Side?

Less traffic. More lake.

The north side of Mille Lacs is where you go when you'd rather fish than fight the crowds. From Barnacles you're minutes from the flats and mud basins that make this lake famous for walleye, jumbo perch, tullibee, and the northerns of your dreams — with plowed access from the park all winter and North Mille Lacs Ice Fishing's ice road network right next door.

And when the ice goes out, you're not done: your membership includes launch privileges and first right to a harbor slip, so the same lot that serves your wheelhouse in January can anchor your open-water season in July.
